Gym Rivals ("we", "our", or "the app") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

• Profile & fitness data you enter yourself: name, character class, goals, body metrics, workouts, nutrition entries, weight and progress photos. This is stored on your device and, if you enable online features, synced to power leaderboards and duels.
• Progress photos stay on your device unless you explicitly share them.
• Usage & diagnostic data to keep the app stable and improve features.
• Purchase data: subscription status is managed by Apple and our payments provider (RevenueCat). We never receive your full payment details.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide core features: tracking workouts and nutrition, evolving your character, streaks, quests and rivals.
• To enable optional online features such as friends, duels and rankings.
• To manage your subscription and unlock premium content.
• To send optional reminders and notifications you have enabled.

Food Scanner & AI

When you use AI features (such as the food scanner), the relevant input is processed by our AI provider to return a result. It is not used to identify you.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Data is shared only with service providers that operate the app (such as Apple for purchases, RevenueCat for subscription management, and our hosting provider) and only as needed to run these features.

Data Retention & Your Choices

You can delete your data at any time by removing entries in the app or by uninstalling it, which removes locally stored data. To request deletion of any online data, contact us at the email below.

Children

Gym Rivals is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
